Paid for Express, Got Endless Delays: A Buyer's Warning 😡
I'm writing this as a warning about my horrendous experience. I needed new glasses urgently after mine broke, so I ordered on March 30th and paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. Days went by with my order just sitting 'in production.' By day 11, I was furious and felt I had no choice but to call them. My conclusion? It's a "Terrible company… Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production. Day 11 I call to ask for a shipping refund… these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery. Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers." This is the conversation that followed.
Customer: Hi, I'm calling about my order. I placed it on March 30th and paid for 3-5 day express shipping. It's now been 11 days and it's still in production. What is going on?
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about the delay. Let me pull up your order. I see it is still in the lab. I sincerely apologize for the production time not meeting our express service standard.
Customer: Sorry doesn't help me see. My old glasses are broken, that's why I paid extra! At this point, I want the $10 express shipping fee refunded immediately. This is completely unacceptable.
CS Rep: You are absolutely right, and I understand your frustration. I have just processed a full refund for the $10 shipping charge back to your original payment method. You will see it post in 3-5 business days. Again, I am truly sorry for this experience.
