My 19-Day Nightmare for 3-5 Day Express Shipping 😡
My recent online shopping experience was an absolute nightmare, and I feel I have to warn other people. I desperately needed new glasses and paid extra for fast shipping, but the whole situation became an exercise in frustration. My final thoughts on the matter are this: Terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production. Day 11 I call to ask for a shipping refund, they seemed like they do it all the time by the way she responded. So i got the 10$ in shipping but these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery. Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. Terrible terrible terrible. Day 19 or whatever still no glasses!!! This unbelievable delay is why I had to call customer service for the second time.
Customer: I’m calling about my order again. It’s now day 15. I paid for 3-5 day shipping and I still have nothing. Your colleague refunded the shipping fee, but that doesn't help me see. Where are my glasses?
CS Rep: I am very sorry for the extreme delay you've experienced. This is certainly not our standard. Can I have your order number to check the most current status for you?
Customer: It’s [Order Number]. I was told days ago they were in production. My old glasses are broken. I need these. This is beyond unacceptable.
CS Rep: I understand completely. I see the order has finally shipped, but the tracking indicates it won't arrive for another four days. I sincerely apologize for this failure. For this terrible experience, I can issue an immediate 30% refund on the cost of the glasses themselves.
Customer: A partial refund and I still have to wait? Fine. But you've lost a customer for life, and I'm making sure everyone I know hears about this.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I have processed that refund for you now. Again, I am truly sorry for the unacceptable service you received.
