My recent online shopping experience was an absolute disaster, and I feel compelled to share it as a cautionary tale. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid for "next day delivery" and hours later received an email saying my order would take 3 business days. The entire process was so frustratingly automated; I spent ages trying to get a human, which is why I eventually had to engage with customer service.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery, and my order isn't coming next day! Your site said "eligible for next day delivery," but then I get an email saying it will take three business days. This is false advertising! CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the misleading information regarding next-day delivery. That is certainly not the experience we want you to have. Customer: Misleading? I paid an extra $19.95 for a service you aren't providing. My glasses were plano lenses, so there's no "production delay." I want that delivery fee refunded immediately. CS Rep: I've checked your order, and I see the discrepancy with the delivery estimate. We are processing a full refund for the $19.95 next-day delivery fee for you right now. It should reflect in your account within 3-5 business days. Customer: Well, it's something, but this whole automated system and the difficulty of reaching someone is unacceptable. I hope you fix your website's promises. CS Rep: We are constantly working to improve our customer experience, and your feedback is very important. Is there anything else I can assist you with regarding your order today?
