⚠️ My 19-Day Glasses Nightmare: A Warning About Online Delays 😤
My terrible online shopping experience with this company is a cautionary tale I feel compelled to share. I ordered glasses on March 30th, desperately needing them because my old ones broke, and even paid extra for express 3-5 day shipping. But here I am, on day 19, and still no glasses! The entire process has been terrible, terrible, terrible. Days passed, and my order remained "in production." On day 11, I called to demand a shipping refund, which they processed, but it didn't change the fact that my glasses are still nowhere in sight, with another six days expected for delivery. This blatant disregard for customers made me realize I had to speak up and engage with customer service, hoping to resolve this nightmare and warn others.
Customer: I'm calling about order [Order Number]. It's been 19 days, and I still don't have my glasses, even though I paid for express 3-5 day shipping! My old pair broke, and I'm completely stuck without them. CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the significant delay with your order and the inconvenience it's causing. Let me pull up your order for you. I see it's still showing as 'in production.' This is definitely not the experience we want for our customers. Customer: Not the experience? It's been 'in production' for what feels like forever! I already got a shipping refund on day 11, but that doesn't help me see. These glasses are supposedly still six days out. This is a terrible company; you clearly don't care about your customers. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and you have every right to feel that way. I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication and the extended wait. Let me see if I can personally escalate this production to get it shipped out immediately and offer you an additional credit for the extreme delay. Customer: Escalate it immediately? What does that even mean? I just want my glasses. Can you tell me exactly when they will ship and when I'll actually receive them this time?
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of endless waiting and terrible service.
